Three guided exposures by Vasile Micu on 15/16 August 1998 near M31 in And.
A strange spot near Beta And (right under the edge) was supposed to be a new comet.
Unfortunatelly, no other observation could be associated with these. Dr. Daniel Green at Harvard said
the spot seems to be "an obvious ghost image of beta And". Other reports would be greatly appreciated.
